I decided to get back to my roots and buy a mac. I was a "mac guy" in the beginning, but the PC prices and software made it too tempting not to buy and build one. So for the past 9 years I have been PC only. Starting today, I own a MacBook (along with my 2 PCs and my Windows server). Considering this is the business I'm in, I felt like I should own one. (11/2009)

I purchased an xBox 360. While being a PC gamer for the past 10 years - I decided to expand to the living room. Plus, I always wanted to play games in 5.1 surround sound - the PC made that kind of difficult with the speaker wiring in my office. (11/2008)

I was lucky enough to get a "Hot Pass" to Talladega Super Speedway. This is basically a pass to go and be wherever you want to be; except in the car with a driver. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Thank you Crissy! http://slacklove.com/gallery/Talladega/ (10/2008)

Moved the entire network at the CWK offices (routing, phones, connectivity, all workstations, servers, printers, faxes). This is the second move I have executed for CWK. (07/2008)

I purchased a new still camera. A Canon PowerShot SD750. I also got a 2 gig memory card for it. I am very impressed with the camera and its abilities. You can check out my pictures on my FLICKR page. (05/2008)

Again, our server (PowerEdge 2600) crashed at CWK Network. However, this time the RAM to the RAID controller went bad. I took this as an opportunity to buy a new server. I bought a used PowerEdge 1800. Company back on track. All accounts transferred from secondary server. New server promoted to main controller. Learned that Server 2000 doesn't actually have secondary or primary classes. It's all about the roles they employ that make them what they are. (04/2008)

I recently purchased a Panasonic - MiniDV Digital Camcorder, it shoots in 16:9 (widescreen). You can check my youtube account for videos. I plan on using the camera to communicate with family. (04/2008)

Building computers is much cheaper than buying pre-built.Complete domain server crash at CWK. Two drives of RAID died. Rebuilt RAID system, recovery of all files, DNS info, and Active Directory successful. Files recovered from digital tape via Veritas. Active directory retrieved from secondary server previously built my me. (8/3/07)

Built CWK Forum with phpBB. Open source is a beautiful thing. (unpublished as of 2/07)

Updated Audio page with recording pieces from my experiences with live music and audio engineering.

Updated resume with Task List document at current employer.

Built "from the ground up" the CWK Store. This was something that I always had wanted to do. Everything went very smooth.

Moved the entire CWK Network to a new location. Routed 50+ stations.

The SlackLove Development Server is up and running. If you are a client, this is where you can view your work in progress. The network is also hosting a Half-Life 1 and Half-Life 2 Server. You can view the live stats of the current game at anytime here as well.

The Eclipse Travel site was a success. We built their intranet and public site. The intranet we built streamlined their incoming information for their clients to enjoy an easy and painless process; sending them on their way to a less-stressful vacation. I mean, shouldn't vacationing be painless? Of course it should.
